On Friday at 1:30 p.m. Ashoka announced that Holi has been postponed because of a tornado watch. According to a Facebook message sent out at 3:15 p.m. the event has been moved to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Holi, a religious festival observed in India, is celebrated annually at Washington University with a water balloon fight and subsequent mud fight on the Swamp on the South 40. The event is hosted by Ashoka, the University’s South Asian cultural group.

The event was scheduled to take place at 2:30 on Friday.
