StudLife is produced by a team of Washington University undergraduate students known as the “senior staff” in conjunction with other contributors and staffers. Any undergraduate can contribute to the paper regardless of their prior experience with journalism and media. Each section has its own standard for when contributors become a staff reporter or writer, but in general students become staff members after their first few reported stories. Senior staffers receive stipends on a monthly basis as compensation for their work to support StudLife. For visuals such as photographs or illustrations, we will designate contributors or staff members by including a slash (/) and the words StudLife after their name. Otherwise, it is fair to assume that the visual came from someone not associated with the newspaper.
