A WashU student engaged in a performance art piece was asked to leave the East End of campus, with administration citing the Facilities Access Policy as the reason for requesting him to do so, on April 7.
WashU Jewish Students for Palestine (JSP) emailed administration asking for the limitation of displays of “Israeli nationalism” on the one-year anniversary of Oct.7. In the email, which was sent last week and posted on Instagram tonight, JSP said that the displays will negatively impact students’ ability to mourn.
We must be honest in our understanding of history and recognize that, as Jews and as people, we are, and always have been, a part of the anti-Zionist movement.
