The print edition of today’s newspaper includes an op-ed from Washington University Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Lori White entitled “My heart sank…because I understand.” This piece also ran online on April 17. While Student Life typically does not publish articles that have first run online in subsequent print editions, we have made an exception in this case due to the piece’s relevance both to other articles in the print issue and to the campus community. It has been subjected to the same level of scrutiny and editing as all other op-eds published by Student Life either online or in print.
