It seems that we Cadenza reporters often write about pop-culture-inspired Halloween costumes that we think would be awesome. We’re tired of the positive attention we’ve brought to some looks, so here are five costumes we absolutely do not want to see as the end of the month approaches.
It has been hailed as one of the scariest shows ever produced for television and branded a “psychosexual thriller” by its creators. From its imaginative title and suitably creepy opening credits—chock-full of classic horror story clichés like nondescript forms floating in jars, old-timey Victorian portraits and vaguely unsettling music—FX’s new show “American Horror Story” makes no bones about its purpose: unabashed, scream-inducing, hair-raising horror.
I’m sure I’m not the only one with complicated feelings about the music of “Glee.” Although the show’s actual plot was often melodramatic when it first started, it was worth watching for the music—the creative mashups, the emotional performances of Broadway standards, the pop music sung better than the original singers.

I know we haven’t corresponded by snail-mail ever, but I thought it’d be nice to start. So. Let’s start. There have been some big changes around here. I boiled pasta for dinner, yesterday, and I plan to reheat it for tonight’s dinner. I bought Cascade Detergent.
