WashU’s a cappella groups, The Mosaic Whispers and The Amateurs, take the stage with soulful classics and ‘out of this world’ talent.

Changes range from a revamped audition process to new ways of producing musical content, but the groups are powering ahead.

On March 22 and 23, the Amateurs, one of Washington University’s oldest co-ed a cappella groups, held their annual concert “Goin’ Pro”.

While he is a part of the Washington University Amateurs, sophomore Ben Vance is an a cappella professional.

Like in past years, the 2015 Sex Issue saw student groups bare their bodies. From academic clubs to fraternities and a cappella groups to student business workers, Wash. U. students used strategically placed props both to showcase their club spirit and cover up their delicate bits.

For the fifth year in a row, Washington University’s a capella groups are joining forces for a good cause. This year’s Rhythms for Rebuilding charity concert will be held on Thursday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Graham Chapel.
