Aca-mazing: WashU’s Mosaic Whispers return to ICCA Finals

After nearly a decade, Mosaic Whispers, WashU’s oldest co-ed a cappella group, is headed back to the ICCA Finals on April 26. They will be competing against the top 10 groups in the country at New York City’s Beacon Theatre.

Songyee Park is luminescent. On stage for K-pop girl group Woo!ah!’s debut performance in a sparkling oversized jersey over white safety shorts, her movements are perfectly in sync, hitting every bouncy “bada bada bing” with precision. The Songyee Park under the fluorescent lights of an overbooked Olin study room on a Thursday evening is something closer to the real person.
