Lichtenberger sets school record as men’s track and field competes at indoor nationals

The Washington University men’s track and field team competed at the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on March 8 and 9. The team, which won the meet in 2022, had three athletes compete and finished tied for 43rd place with Benedictine University and the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.

Women’s soccer ends regular season on win

The No. 1 Washington University women’s soccer team closed out its regular season with a 2-0 victory at the University of Chicago on Saturday, finishing the season with a 17-1 record and an undefeated 7-0 record in the University Athletic Association. The Bears’ 17 regular-season wins are the most in team history.

Speedy season debut earns Padgett national recognition

Junior runner Drew Padgett earned NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country National Athlete of the Week honors after his record-setting performance Saturday at the Gabby Reuveni Early Bird Meet. Padgett’s 19:10 run was the fastest in team history on the 6,000-meter course in Forest Park, and he finished 15 seconds ahead of all competitors Saturday.
