On Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, full frontal nude photos of Justin Bieber hit the Internet. Snapped by an enterprising paparazzo, the photos showed Bieber on the deck of a villa in Bora Bora, where he was vacationing with model Jayde Pierce.

Besides title song, “Talk Dirty” album disappoints

I am going to be frank with you all: I love Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty.” I love the version featuring 2 Chainz. I love the version with the saxophone break instead of 2 Chainz. I even love the Spanish version. As soon as that little laugh comes through my car radio, I am 100-percent ready to “get jazzy” with Jason.

Justin Bieber wants to be America’s ‘Boyfriend,’ but how is the song?

After a ten-day media blitz including appearances on “Ellen” and Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Justin Bieber finally dropped his new single “Boyfriend.” Twitter went crazy. Hashtags for every minute of the countdown trended (#5minutestoboyfriend, for example). It shot to No. 1 on iTunes, where it has remained.

The return of the boy band has been a long time coming. The Jonas Brothers look surprisingly clairvoyant and avant-garde, what with their quick rise and fall between 2006 and 2008. Justin Bieber followed soon after, and, now, the British are coming. Or they already came.

Point/Counterpoint: Does the Christmas season come too early?

Last week, Cadenza reviewed the new Justin Bieber Christmas album. Something else that happened last week? Halloween. For years, people have been lamenting the too-early start of the Christmas season, declaring that people shouldn’t be allowed to start celebrating Christmas until Santa closes out the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Justin Bieber recorded a Christmas album, and I can’t think of a better artist to release a Christmas album from a marketing standpoint. This will probably be the most popular stocking stuffer this year. Despite my acknowledged status as a “Belieber,” I did not expect to like the album—and yet, I did.

In defense of Justin Bieber

Why does it seem like the whole word hates Justin Bieber? It is strange to me that this harmless teenager, widely acknowledged to look like either a Labrador Retriever or a lesbian, commands enough hatred that Twitter and 4chan has wished him upon North Korea. Here are a few reasons that he does not deserve your hatred.
