‘Tis the season, baby. The time of year when some fraternities have out-of-town formals in places like Chicago and Nashville, Tenn., and non-fraternity members are generally asked to come with. It’s a weekend of sight-seeing, drinking, dancing and fun times, or so I’ve been told.

The Interfraternity Council unanimously voted to accept a resolution that requires all fraternity chapters to attend sexual assault intervention trainings before their respective formal events this spring.

It’s spring again, which means not only another season of exams and blooming tulips on our fair campus, but another season of fraternity formals. Every year, fraternities head out on the road or find a local venue to hold their event, bringing along dates.
