“Satisfaction” centers on the tense, unsteady relationship between Lola (Emma Laird) and Phillip (Fionn Whitehead), a married British couple working on a musical composition while staying on Antiparos, a beautifully chilling Greek island.

“Eclipsed,” a play about the effects of the Liberian civil war on five women, is playing this weekend at the Hotchner Studio Theatre. Student Life spoke with Andrea Urice, senior lecturer in drama, about the play and her process as a director. Student Life: Why are you a director? What continues to interest you in directing?
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream” opened at the Edison Theatre with three performances over the weekend and will feature three additional shows at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
