Washington University will host a presidential debate on Oct. 9, 2016, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced Wednesday.

The debate will be the second of the general presidential election and is the first presidential debate the University will host since 2004. Washington University most recently hosted a debate in 2008, when the vice-presidential debate was held in the Athletic Complex.

Other schools selected to host debates are Wright State University in Ohio and University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
