Kenan Thompson announced for SPB’s second fall comedy show
Comedian Kenan Thompson will headline Social Programming Board’s second and final comedy show of the semester, SPB announced tonight. The show will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in Graham Chapel.
Thompson is perhaps best known for his work on “Saturday Night Live,” where he is currently in his 12th season, making him the most senior member of the show’s current cast. Thompson is also known for his early work on the Nickelodeon comedy series “Kenan & Kel” and “All That,” as well as his roles in the films “Good Burger” and “Fat Albert.”
This semester, SPB broke with tradition by organizing two comedy shows rather than one, adding a show by comedian Bert Kreischer in the Gargoyle during the first week of classes. Headliners from recent semesters have included Mike Birbiglia, Judah Friedlander, Nick Offerman and Demetri Martin.
