On March 30, sophomore Amy Beanblossom won her first collegiate golf tournament. She posted a round of 5 over par, good enough for third place at the Cardinal Classic in Chicago, Illinois on Monday, April 21. One day later, she teed off, moving up two spots to secure her second collegiate win with a second round score of 72 (E), the only even round for any golfer in the tournament.
The No. 4 WashU women’s golf team placed fourth with a cumulative score of 31 over par at the Deb Jackson Invitational on April 13-14 in Douglassville, Georgia. Senior Sydney Kuo led the Bears, scoring five over par across the two-day tournament to place seventh.
Sophomore Amy Beanblossom has been a key and consistent performer for the WashU women’s golf team over the past two seasons and recently placed first at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) Invitational on March 29-30 marking her first collegiate victory.

The No. 3 WashU women’s golf team placed fourth with a combined score of 19 over par at the WashU Spring Invite on March 22 after the second day of the tournament was canceled due to flooding at Crescent Farms Golf Course in Eureka, Missouri. The No. 42 The University of Wisconsin–Stout won the match with a combined team score of 14 over par.
The No. 3 WashU women’s golf team placed second at the Berry Invitational with a combined team score of 612 (+36) strokes on March 10-11 in Statesboro, Georgia. Senior and former All-American Sydney Kuo and junior Tiffany Chan both placed in the top five out of over 100 players, with Kuo tied for third place in shooting 148 (+5) and Chan finishing two strokes behind in fourth.
