Man who vandalized South 40 underpass receives two years probation

One of the vandals who defaced a Black history mural on the South 40 underpass with white supremacist messaging in December of 2021 was sentenced to two years of unsupervised probation Tuesday morning.

Kappa Sigma and Alpha Phi temporarily suspended in connection to egging incident

The chapters of both Kappa Sigma and Alpha Phi have been temporarily suspended at Washington University pending the results of a student conduct investigation into an incident involving students throwing eggs and potentially saying racial slurs at Bear’s Den (BD) dining hall, March 21, per Dean of Students Rob Wild.
