This past Thursday, April 4, comedian Ken Jeong, known for roles like Ben Chang on “Community” and Mr. Chow from the Hangover movies, came to Washington University for Social Programming Board’s Spring Comedy Show.
Jeong, known for his roles in the “Hangover” movie series and the cult TV comedy “Community,” will follow after a student opener. Submissions to perform before Jeong are open to Washington University undergraduates. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:00 p.m.
This past Saturday, Washington University’s Social Programming Board held its Spring Comedy Show in Graham Chapel featuring Ilana Glazer and Beth Stelling.
John Mulaney, a veteran “Saturday Night Live” writer and stand-up comedian who has performed at venues like Carnegie Hall and a Murfreesboro, Tennessee campground, entertained a full house at Graham Chapel on Wednesday evening.

Students expressed mixed reactions to Social Programming Board’s announcement that actors Mike Birbiglia and Judah Friedlander would perform on campus for the spring comedy show. In the aftermath of the announcement made at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, many students were unsure who the headlining comedians were.
The headliner at this year’s Spring Comedy Show has an accomplishment of which some Washington University students might be envious: he was accepted to Harvard Law School.
