WU’s vaccine requirement has created challenges for international students

As a unique semester begins to take shape, many questions remain unanswered for the unprecedented contingent of students taking classes from outside of the United States.

When Washington University transitioned to online instruction in March, international students scrambled to figure out their next move.

The Center for Diversity and Inclusion, the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement and the Office for International Students and Scholars relocated their office spaces over summer break. The offices moved to better serve students, meet the needs of each office and to provide additional space for the offices’ growth.
