No. 8 volleyball extends win streak to 10 in third UAA round robin

The Bears swept both opponents in competitive fixtures, with each match lasting five sets. The match against UChicago featured a comeback after being down two sets to one, and against Carnegie Mellon, they held on after taking an early lead. With the wins, the Bears finish UAA play 5-2 and will enter the conference tournament as the third seed.

WashU football loses CCIW associate membership, to leave conference before 2026 season

The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) has revoked the Washington University football team’s associate membership, a CCIW spokesman confirmed to Student Life Friday, Sep. 6. WashU will remain an associate member of the conference until the 2025 season concludes.

In their first game of the season against Coe’s Kohawks, on Aug. 30, the Bears came up on top in a five-set thriller. However, the day following the win, they lost to Hope in five sets and fell 0-3 against Northwestern.
