As students at Washington University, we are not only members of the University’s community, but of the greater area. We have a responsibility to be active members of both.

As I take a sip of Schlafly in between bites of Imo’s pizza, I’m reminded of the quality products St. Louis has to offer. Sure, these products might cost a bit more than the national brand, but I prefer them and don’t mind paying a premium. In fact, I don’t mind paying more for any local goods and services since I’m receiving a better value.

Featuring performances by over 100 (mostly local) bands, Play:stl is a great up-and-coming music festival. Now in its fourth year, the three-day event will once again allow local fans, bands, and music management to come together to celebrate the vibrant music scene here in St. Louis.
