Washington University’s music scene is growing, and with that growth comes a need for an outlet to showcase the musical talent on this campus in all its forms. That new outlet is WashU Records. WashU Records is Wash. U.’s on-campus, student-run record label founded in fall 2018 by senior Jack Winkelman, who serves as its president.

WUStock, CS40’s annual concert on the swamp, was originally supposed to be an outdoor concert, but forecasted thunderstorms forced WUStock to move indoors to Mudd Multipurpose Room. In a classic example of St. Louis weather, the rain stayed away until nearly the end of the event, at which point it showed up for just long enough to make everyone glad the event was held inside.
