This past weekend saw some 40,000 people gather in beautiful Washington D.C. to urge President Barack Obama not to sign off on the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline, a required measure for its construction to take place as it crosses international borders.

Green Action joins major rally on National Mall

On Sunday, 57 Washington University students bussed to Washington D.C. and joined thousands of other U.S. citizens urging political leaders to take a stand on environmental issues. The “Forward on Climate Rally,” organized by the Sierra Club, 350.

The dangers of the Keystone Pipeline

This weekend, 35 Washington University students went to Washington, D.C. to join with other protestors in forming a ring around the White House. They were protesting the proposed Keystone XL pipeline, a project that would connect the Canadian tar sands to oil refineries in Okla. and Texas.
