St. Louis is known for its plethora of doughnut shops, so how is one to choose? Well, there are a number of—let’s say—unique ones, including Vincent Van Doughnut and Strange Donuts, each recently opened and bringing something special to the St. Louis scene.

While your exams may have been last week or more still might be around the corner, everyone deserves a break. Scene staffers certainly had plenty of exams this week. With fall break this weekend, it’s the perfect time to embrace the “play hard” ethos that is so often missing from our campus come mid-October when classes start to get a little too real.

“Mmm… donuts.” As Homer Simpson recognizes, a donut is one of those rare treats that is hard to screw up, and thus consistently satisfies. But if you’re looking to indulge in something above the likes of Dunkin Donuts and even Krispy Kreme, St. Louis is certainly the right place.
