The Washington University swimming and diving teams made a splash in their season opener with a pair of victories over Division I Saint Louis University.

The Washington University swimming teams started off their seasons on Friday with losses against Division I competitor Saint Louis University. The Bears won five events combined against the Billikens. The men’s team was defeated by a score of 140.5-86.5 while the women lost 147-84.

The Washington University swimming and diving team split a dual meet against Division I rival St. Louis University over the weekend. The men defeated the Billikens 122.5-100.5 while the women lost to SLU 163-83.
