Isaac Seiler named Truman Scholar

Washington University junior Isaac Seiler (IS) was recently named a Truman Scholar, a prestigious honor awarded to junior undergraduates who intend to pursue graduate study in public service or policy. Seiler sat down with Student Life (SL) to discuss his experience with the scholarship process and plans for the future.

Three students named Truman Scholarship finalists

Washington University juniors Logan Flori, Isaac Seiler, and Amelia Letson have been named finalists for the prestigious Truman Scholarship for public service, which provides up to $30,000 to put towards graduate or professional programs.

Student Life wins 23 Missouri college newspaper awards

Student Life, the independent newspaper of Washington University, has won 23 awards in the Missouri College Media Association Newspaper contest. The MCMA Newspaper contest honors excellence in collegiate journalism in the state of Missouri. The awards were announced at the annual MCMA meeting in Joplin, Mo. on April 20.

Cancer society award goes to student

Washington University sophomore Charlotte Kerr has received one of the yearly Childhood Cancer Scholarships sponsored by the American Cancer Society (ACS).
