Price:
$20 or $5 with an UMSL ID

Cee Lo Green is slated to headline University of Missouri-Saint Louis’s (UMSL) Mirthday Celebration tonight at the Touhill Performing Arts Center. Think of Mirthday as UMSL’s answer to our W.I.L.D.—an annual celebration of spring. Jay Sean, Jason Derulo and Fitz and the Tantrums headlined last year’s Mirthday, so it’s always a big deal. This year is no different.

Green is perhaps best known for his 2010 single “F— You,” which hit airwaves last August. Before he went solo, he was one-half of duo Gnarls Barkley, known for their 2006 single “Crazy.” His third studio album (and first solo album) “The Lady Killer” dropped last November, and it received rave reviews for Cee Lo’s classicist soul style. Critics perceived his album as a throwback to Motown stars like the Temptations and Smokey Robinson.

Tickets are $5 with an UMSL student ID. Each student can purchase four tickets, so hit your UMSL buds up and remind them of that favor you did for them three months ago (long enough ago that they’d forget you didn’t actually help them out). For those poor souls without a contact at UMSL, tickets will cost $20.

Take this opportunity to break out of the Wash. U. bubble. Head into the city, meet some new people and watch what is sure to be an amazing concert.
