Seven possible Harry Potter endings
1. It was all a dream; Dudley wakes up from a strange, deep sleep and then go beats up his non-magical adopted cousin Harry.
2. Harry goes deep into the Forbidden Forest to face Voldemort, but instead of encountering the Dark Lord, he is surprised to find a wall, which he climbs over. Cars whiz by as he cautiously approaches a highway – he was living in “The Village.”
3. At page 456, the book reads, “fade to black,” followed by lyrics to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.”
4. In a touching heart-to-heart, Voldemort gently reveals that Harry has been dead the whole time. “Really?” Harry replies, wiping away a tear. “No. Avada Kedevra.”
5. Harry, Ron, and Hermione capture Voldemort with an elaborate mouse-trap like scheme in which Voldemort somehow ends up with a bag over his head. They bring him to the castle and take off the bag. It’s Old Man Jenkins! And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for those meddling kids.
6. After defeating Voldemort, Harry turns to Ron and says, “When the moon is in the Seventh House and Jupiter aligns with Mars.” That’s when Ron, the remaining survivors at Hogwarts and Paul Rudd break into “Aquarius”.
7. Voldemort’s Avada Kedevra curse still backfires when it collides with Harry’s Expelliarmus. But before Voldemort dies, he whispers one last word: “Rosebud.”
