After last weekend’s tough losses to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, the Washington University baseball team bounced back for a dominant 3-1 series win over the New York University Violets to start conference play on March 29-31. 

Over the past few weeks, Team USA competed in the FIBA Basketball World Cup, placing fourth after losing their final two matches. The disappointing finish marks the second tournament in a row where the United States has failed to reach the title game. With their recent struggles at the international level, it begs the question as to where American basketball stands on the world stage?

The win allowed the Bears to continue building on a string of recent successes.

Since the Bears only played with three golfers, they did not finish with a team ranking in the competition.

Although the relaxed transfer process might increase the competition between schools at the top of college basketball, the associated exodus of talent is detrimental to the whole of college basketball.
