The Washington University men’s basketball played the first road game of head coach Pat Juckem’s tenure, dropping a midweek nightcap to Webster University 72-64. The Bears led by 10 midway through the first half before being outscored by 12 in the second Wednesday in nearby Webster Groves, Mo.

Despite a late-game rally, the Washington University baseball team could not overcome a 10-run deficit and had its three-game win streak snapped by No. 10 Webster University Wednesday at Kelly Field. Softball Sweeps Webster

Washington University’s softball team overcame the elements to shut out Webster University twice on Sunday afternoon. On a stormy weekend that resulted in a pair of cancelled games on Saturday, the Bears got timely hitting throughout the order and some lights-out pitching on the mound.

Baseball sweeps Webster as Billig breaks record

The Washington University men’s baseball team swept a doubleheader against Webster University on Monday at Irv Utz Stadium to continue its push to earn a berth in the NCAA Division III tournament. The Bears have won 14 of their last 16 games and pushed their record to 25-13 on the season.
