The Washington University women’s soccer team continues to look the part of defending champions through a dominant first few games of the season. This week, the team notched impressive wins against the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Pomona-Pitzer Colleges and Millikin University to stay undefeated on for the year.

In its first major action of the 2016-17 school year, the Washington University men’s tennis team posted a series of strong performances at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Regional this weekend.

After a rare skid last week, the Washington University women’s soccer team rebounded convincingly on Friday night with a 2-0 road victory over the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

In the 30th annual Lopata Classic, the No. 11 Washington University men’s basketball team won a pair of home games over Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Whitman College to improve to 4-0 on the season. On Friday night, the Bears rallied for a 94-74 victory over Rose-Hulman (0-1) in a fast-paced offensive contest.

The Washington University men’s and women’s track-and-field teams hoped to establish some success and consistency at the Engineer Invitational Saturday at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
