Three sororities push to dismantle their chapters, facing resistance from Campus Life, national organizations

Continuing in the fight for the abolition of Greek Life, Pi Beta Phi, Kappa Delta and Delta Gamma have now made efforts to officially disband their chapters, to mixed results from their national organizations and little response from Washington University.

Washington University’s chapter of Pi Beta Phi voted to relinquish its charter, effectively closing the chapter indefinitely, Oct. 4.

Chi O Rent-a-Pet and Pie a Pi Phi

On Tuesday, Chi Omega held a Rent-A-Pet on the lawn in front of the Women’s Building. On Wednesday, Pi Beta Phi held a Pie a Pi Phi, where people could pay to throw a pie at a member of the sorority. Proceeds of both events go towards philanthropy.
