The Olin Business School is set to launch a new business of entertainment minor, following a two-year curriculum revision that began in December 2014.
Sophomores and freshmen can now apply to minor in the medical humanities, a new interdisciplinary minor announced this year aimed at studying the intersection of medicine and health studies with the humanities.
Starting with the Class of 2014, non-business degree students will only need 15 credits to complete a minor from Washington University’s Olin Business School, down from previous requirements of 18-24 credits.
Another major might soon bite the dust. Students, faculty and administrators met last Wednesday in a town hall forum to clear up confusion regarding the fragile future of the environmental studies program. With the departure of three professors in the field, the program’s structure is currently under review.
