After a yearlong hiatus from touring, Matt and Kim are back on the road. On March 27, the duo visited the Pageant as the fourth stop on their national tour.

Although LouFest this year was filled with high-energy sets from bands as disparate as Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and Grouplove, the budding festival that is beginning to fully come into its own pulled it off. Here are four of our writers’ favorite shows from the weekend, proving that LouFest is nothing if not about solid, live music in a beautiful setting.
Tomorrow, come to the Swamp for WUStock, a concert put on annually by the Congress of the South 40. Headliner Matt and Kim, an indie band known for their fun and lively shows, will take the stage at 5 p.m. At 2:30 p.m., three students bands will open for Matt and Kim: Rhyme n Reason, Where’s Lionel and the Noam Chomskys.
Matt and Kim, the popular Brooklyn-based indie duo, are coming to Washington University this April to headline this year’s WUStock. The group has been active since 2004, when its adorable members Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino (now husband and wife) met at Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute.
