High enrollment, few majors: Korean major added, requirements revised for majors in the East Asian Languages department

In an attempt to attract more undergraduate commitment, the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures (EALC) has revised its major/minor requirements in Chinese and Japanese and created a new Korean major.

They’ve got Seoul

Since expanding from a food truck to a sit-down restaurant in 2012, Seoul Taco has become a staple in many Washington University students’ diets. Given its success, it comes as little surprise that the restaurant has upgraded to a bigger, better location.

U City Grill

U-City Grill is sizzling and fantastic; truly a hidden jewel in St. Louis. I had heard mixed reviews about this Korean restaurant on the Delmar Loop and never gotten the chance to give it a try until last week, but I’m sure I’ll go again. U-City Grill is located at the end of the Loop, on the western side, near the Washington University 560 Building.
