Track and field starts outdoor season, recording top finishes at Distance Carnival and WashU Invite

The WashU track and field teams began their outdoor season at two of the largest outdoor track meets in the midwest: WashU Distance Carnival and WashU Invite on Mar. 28-30. The Bears came out of the weekend with 28 top 10 finishes.

Women’s track finishes indoor season as national runner-up, Ruff wins NCAA pole vault title

The WashU track and field teams wrapped up a hard-fought weekend at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in Rochester, New York, on March 14-15, with the women finishing as national runners-up with 45.5 points and the men securing All-American performances. Across two days of competition, the two teams delivered standout field event performances, key sprint finishes, and a national title — capping off an indoor season filled with record-breaking efforts.

The WashU track and field teams capped off a high-stakes weekend at the 2025 UAA Indoor Championships, with the No. 3 women’s team securing their sixth consecutive conference title and the No. 18 men’s team placing fourth in an intensely competitive field. Over two days of competition in Chicago, the Bears delivered standout performances, shattered records, and showcased their depth, reaffirming their position as a powerhouse in the UAA.

WashU track and field posts strong results at Midwest Elite Invite

The WashU track and field teams traveled to Whitewater, Wisconsin, for the Midwest Elite Invitational, where the No. 3-ranked women’s team delivered another dominant performance, racking up 175.5 points to secure a first-place finish, while the No. 21 men’s team placed fourth with 76 points.
