The Bears’ impressive performances were led by the likes of senior Aboyomi Awoyomi, who won the triple jump crown by hitting a mark of 14.31 meters. A 4x400M medley team of senior Marcus-Jay Wilkes, junior Alex Djetto, senior Jackson Cox, and graduate student Arthur Santoro took home the relay crown, finishing the race with a time of 3:17.29.

Over the weekend, the No. 3 Washington University women’s track and field team won the 2023 University Athletic Association (UAA) Outdoor Championship on Sunday afternoon with 253.50 points. The University of Chicago finished second place at 228.50

In-between, an annual pan-Asian mental health conference founded in 2019, will return to Washington University on April 8.

While hundreds of journalists, social workers, formerly incarcerated individuals and policy makers will convene at Washington University over the weekend to rethink and transform nationwide criminal justice, another group of the University’s professors has been focusing their efforts on a continuing education program for local prison inmates.

Eleven Washington University students and eleven Fudan University students will participate at the U.S. – China Student International Conference on Climate Change & Sustainability in November. Washington University Students for International Collaboration on the Environment (WUSICE) is the organizer of the Conference. The students will interact with each other throughout the six-day event, participating in lectures, discussion panels with experts and social events.
