Women’s soccer falls one step short of Final Four with loss to Wheaton

The Thunder curse continued for the Washington University women’s soccer team Saturday night. Playing without University Athletic Association co-player of the year Anna Zambricki, the third-ranked Washington University Bears couldn’t find a steady rhythm on offense.

Women’s soccer finishes non-conference season with victories

In its bye week from University Athletic Association play, the Washington University women’s soccer team crushed the Fontbonne Griffins 7-0 on Saturday, Oct. 23 and beat the Concordia College (Minn.) Cobbers 2-1 in overtime on Monday, Oct. 25. With the wins, the Bears are now 8-5-2 (2-0-2 UAA).

Women’s soccer coasts to win over Fontbonne

The Washington University women’s soccer team recorded another shutout Saturday evening against Fontbonne University, as the Bears defeated the Griffins 7-0.
“It feel pretty awesome to have another shutout,” junior Lee Ann Felder said. “We always really want to have a shutout when we play at home, so it feels great.”
