Never have I watched the Super Bowl aside from the occasional halftime show, and this year was no different. But, like many of my fellow non-watchers, I do take the time to sift through and watch the million-dollar advertisements. Each year, I start out with the Budweiser ad, dependably successful and filled with Clydesdales, and then move on to the rest.
Washington University students love their soda, but there are many different ways to get the exact same thing. First, let us clarify the value exchange between meal points and pure cash. The residential meal plan options (gold, silver and bronze) have the same exchange rate for the first 2,534 meal points ($3,802). This makes up the bronze plan.
When the grounds of Brookings Hall are dotted with carnival rides, sugary food booths and students donning elaborate costumes, it can only mean one thing: ThurtenE Carnival.
