Wash. U. attempts to manage transportation needs through parking, sidewalk changes

Sustainability advocates on campus hope that changes to the Forsyth path and the accessibility of on-campus parking will promote students walking and biking rather than driving.

Senators, students concerned about bike plan

Student Union senators voiced concern at their weekly meeting Wednesday over Washington University’s plan to reroute bikers on campus. The plan will keep bikers off of most of the pedestrian walkways that run through the middle of campus, pushing them to the perimeter and other designated paths.

Now that I live in Shepley, my hypothesis—that Shepley is the farthest from everything and anything—has been proven correct. Due to this distance problem, I have been forced to reconsider many different methods of transportation.
