Seven Students Against Peabody protesters have been released after being arrested at the group’s final planned protest Friday morning. The students were arrested and charged with trespassing and disturbing the peace after attempting to cross a police line blocking entrance to the Knight Center.

A Washington University student who was driving a vehicle that reportedly struck two undergraduates near the Brookings steps late Sunday night was taken into custody Monday morning, the Office of Public Affairs confirmed.

Washington University police have taken the driver of a vehicle that reportedly struck two undergraduates near the Brookings steps late Sunday night into custody. Sophomores Shana Zucker and Richard Lee were in fair condition at Barnes-Jewish Hospital as of 10:20 a.m., a media representative for Barnes-Jewish confirmed.

Subway employee claims order mishap led to physical altercation

A Mallinckrodt Center Subway employee says a four-minute-late order and payment dispute led to a customer throwing his unopened beverage at her shoulder. The Washington University Police Department is continuing to investigate the alleged altercation between a campus employee and Subway cashier over an order.

Two suspects confess to Sunday’s campus robbery

Two suspects brought in by University City Police on Monday made statements implicating themselves in the robbery that occurred Sunday evening near the Big Bend MetroLink Station. The suspects were taken into custody less than 24 hours after the robbery occurred, with assistance from Metro Security and the Washington University Police Department.

Three individuals walking from the Big Bend MetroLink station toward Forsyth Boulevard were robbed around 8:25 p.m. Sunday evening, according to a crime alert sent to students two hours later.

Clayton police continue investigation into last week’s alleged on-campus sexual assault

Clayton police are continuing to investigate an alleged sexual assault that took place last week on the intramural athletic fields by the South 40. According to the Washington University Police Department’s crime log, a female student reported being assaulted by a man she met at a downtown St. Louis venue around 1:50 a.m. on Oct. 6.

University City police are investigating about 10 gunshots allegedly fired by the corner of Interdrive and Clemens Avenue Sunday evening. Police would not comment on the investigation, but nearby residents said the shots were fired in two bursts just before 9 p.m.

University City police are investigating about 10 gunshots allegedly fired by the corner of Interdrive and Clemens Avenue Sunday evening. Police would not comment on the ongoing investigation, but nearby residents said the shots were fired in two bursts just before 9 p.m.
