For the second weekend in a row, Washington University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams were untouchable against top conference opponents.

By winning four out of their first five conference matchups, including wins over Top 10 ranked New York University and University of Chicago during winter break, the team is tied for first place in the division as they approach the second half of the regular season.

The Washington University men’s basketball team lost the contest against Wabash before taking a one-point victory against local competitor Webster.

“I think we have done a great job serving tough and forcing our opponents to be out of the system,” Walby said.
