Student Union is debating whether to pass a resolution critical of Washington University’s position on clean coal. The resolution would come in response to a student protest of the America’s Energy Future symposium conference, which was hosted by the University’s International Center for Advanced Renewable Energy and Sustainability on Monday.

With national health care reform on the horizon, health insurance is a hot topic among Washington University students. Some say they are unhappy with the school’s Aetna student health insurance plan, which is mandated for all University undergraduate and graduate students.

Washington University students continued to demand effective clean energy legislation following last week’s Power Shift by attending and organizing events promoting the 350 International Day of Climate Action.
