The Bears (304-306, 610) led from beginning to end at the Pat Clouse Invitational in Springfield, Ohio, as they defeated No. 2 DePauw University (316-317, 633) by 23 strokes. It was a monumental weekend all around at the Millikin University Fall Classic, as each of the top five places belonged to the Bears en route to two team round scores lower than the record of 300 set the previous week at the Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Classic.
The Washington University women’s golf team continues to set records and break them again. In the first round of the Millikin Fall Classic, the Bears combined to shoot a 292, eight strokes lower than their previous record of 300 set the week before at the Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Classic.
The records keep falling for the No. 7 Washington University women’s golf team. One week after freshman Olivia Lugar broke the single-round record with a 71 at the O’Brien Invitational, junior and previous record-holder Hannah Buck took it right back with a 69 in the first round of the Illinois Wesleyan University Fall Classic.

Faced with a challenge, the No. 7 Washington University women’s golf team responded triumphantly. Wash. Junior Hannah Buck finished in eighth place with a score of 158 (80-78), sophomore Allyson Chee came in ninth place one stroke back (77-82) and sophomore Andrea Hibbert shot a 166 (85-81), but it was some new names that led the No. 7 Washington University women’s golf team to victory.
After jumping 11 spots in the Division III women’s golf rankings, from 17th to 6th, the Washington University women’s golf team claimed second place at the University of Illinois-Springfield Prarie Star Shootout, the last tournament of the fall.
