Students urge academic departments to implement opt-in pass-fail policy to ease financial and academic burdens of online learning

Students put together an online petition last week calling on all academic departments of Washington University to allow students, both undergraduate and graduate, to opt into any class pass-fail with few restrictions and to count those courses toward major, minor and graduation requirements, or for students to choose to keep a letter grade.

WU clocks in at No. 15, falls in national ratings

College ranking season has arrived and Washington University is once again among the top 15 universities in the nation. The recently published U.S. News & World Report National Universities tied the University in 15th place along with Vanderbilt University and Cornell University. This is one spot below from last year’s 14th place.
