The Bears swept the Judges on April 18 and 20, extending a season-high win streak to 12 consecutive games. With 12 games in the books against University Athletic Association (UAA) opponents — and an 11-1 record against them — this year’s team has a chance to claim WashU softball’s first outright UAA title since 2017.
Women’s track and field took home their seventh straight conference crown, while the other teams all finished in the top four of the conference, with many setting themselves up well for the NCAA championships in the coming weeks.
Women’s soccer has already won the UAA, while the men will seek to do so against Chicago on Saturday.
The 2-0 win was the Bears’ eighth clean sheet this season.
The weekend put the Bears’ record at 11-7 on the season.
With the wins over Wheaton and Rose-Hulman, the Bears imrpoved to 7-0-1 on the year.
In their three matchups, the Bears, who broke into the top 25 nationally earlier this week at No. 18, went 2-1 to bring their record to 6-2 on the season.
