With much of the country on lockdown and the economy heading towards a recession, many graduating seniors feel they are entering the workforce at an inopportune time.

If you’re a typical Washington University student, you’re not from here. You didn’t grow up in St. Louis, and chances are, you’re most certainly not planning on staying here once your four years on campus are over. Common and valid as this mindset may be, however, we’d like to invite you to reconsider.
