The home-court advantage of the Dwight Davis and Tao Tennis Centers offered no help to the Washington University women’s tennis team at the 2010 United States Tennis Association/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Women’s Tennis Central Regional on Oct. 1-4.
The No. 14 Washington University women’s tennis team had three decisive victories in spring break matches in Hilton Head, S.C. and Savannah Ga. but dropped one match to Division II foe Armstrong Atlantic.
The women’s tennis team finished up the fall season with a bang last weekend at the Wilson/ITA Regional Championships, boasting a representative in at least the semifinals for the singles, doubles and singles-consolation tournaments.
