Gratitude

Staff Editorial: What StudLife staff is grateful for this Thanksgiving

We hope that gratitude and being around the people you love can make your Thanksgiving meaningful. Below are some of the things that we are thankful for this year.

Going to Wash. U. is a privilege, do not let ingratitude tear down the joy of others

“I had expected my peers to feel similarly, to be in awe of the amenities, to be thrilled by the opportunity, the absolute privilege, we all have received by getting to be educated at somewhere like Wash.U. But instead…I have been surrounded by insults to the food, insults to the housing, insults to the institution.

Op-Ed: Dear Wash. U.,

During my time here, I have been bestowed the nickname “Ninja Turtle Backpack Kid.” As such, I owe the deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. You were not obliged to indulge my various… let’s call them “antics.” Walking around aimlessly, picking up trash and listening to music is the thing I enjoy doing most in life (yes, I am just a little bit strange), so I am incredibly thankful that the Wash. U. community has been so tolerant to and receptive of my potentially obtrusive behavior.
