Women’s soccer wins, Jaques sets record

The fifth-ranked Washington University women’s soccer team extended its undefeated streak to nine games Tuesday evening when it defeated Central Region foe Principia College 2-0 at Francis Field. With the win, senior Clara Jaques set a school record with her 24th career shutout.

Zambricki’s hat trick powers women’s soccer

All the No. 11 Washington University women’s soccer team needed to top previously undefeated Carnegie Mellon University on the road and in the rain on Sunday was Anna Zambricki. The sophomore had a huge performance in the Bears’ University Athletic Association opener, totaling all three goals in a dominant 3-0 victory.

Women’s soccer falls at third-ranked Wheaton, defeats DePauw

The No. 9 Washington University women’s soccer team had an up-and-down road trip this past weekend, losing to No. 3 Wheaton College 4-0 on Saturday in Illinois but rebounding Sunday with a 4-0 victory of its own against DePauw University in Indiana. The Wheaton game was a rematch against the extremely talented team that knocked it out of the playoffs last season.

Bears fall to unbeaten Otterbein in NCAA tournament

The Washington University women’s soccer team’s season came to a close on Saturday, Nov. 13, after losing 2-0 to No. 3 Otterbein College (20-0-1) in the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament.

Women’s soccer coasts to win over Fontbonne

The Washington University women’s soccer team recorded another shutout Saturday evening against Fontbonne University, as the Bears defeated the Griffins 7-0.
“It feel pretty awesome to have another shutout,” junior Lee Ann Felder said. “We always really want to have a shutout when we play at home, so it feels great.”
