Gone from the roster of the Washington University men’s basketball team are last year’s leading scorer and any connections to the 2009 national championship squad, which had defended a title from the year before. Also gone is a player that was expected to help fill those leading scorer shoes.

Fans voted Washington University men’s basketball senior guard Dylan Richter into the 2012 NABC Reese’s Division III All-Star Game, which will be held in Salem, Va. Richter, who averaged 16.

Bears fall to Chicago in finale for Class of 2011

The Washington University men’s basketball team ended its season with a 74-67 loss to the University of Chicago. Before Saturday’s contest at the Field House, the team honored its four seniors: Spencer Gay, Isaiah Honick, Caleb Knepper and Brett Sapp. Knepper also won the Pearce Award, which is given to a departing player for overall dedication to the team.
