Hundreds of people gathered in Brookings Quadrangle to celebrate the inauguration of Chancellor Andrew Martin, Oct. 3.

Although Chancellor Andrew Martin’s inauguration ceremony occurred on Thursday, Oct. 3, that didn’t stop the Washington University community from continuing to celebrate the momentous occasion. Students took the lead on Friday, with TEDxWUSTL hosting a speaker event sharing the inauguration theme: Momentum.

Low-income students from Missouri and Southern Illinois will be able to attend Washington University for free starting in the 2020-2021 school year, Chancellor Andrew Martin announced in his inaugural address, Oct. 3.
